Senior Maintenance Associate
Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of assigned buildings through daily cleaning, seasonal maintenance, project work, unit preparation, contractor supervision, and timely response to work orders and emergencies.
Job Responsibilities

Responsible for the interior and exterior maintenance as well as making sure assigned building(s) are consistently cleaned to provide a safe work environment.

Performs daily cleaning duties, including but not limited to: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning walls, windows, restrooms, emptying and cleaning trash containers, when needed

Works on projects that include, but not limited to: stripping and waxing floors, and carpet cleaning when necessary and contingent upon the need of property. Assists with the seasonal maintenance of the premises, including: snow and ice removal, spreading of salt when needed on all pavements, and the maintenance and groundskeeping of all landscape areas.

Handles work orders in a timely, efficient, and safe manner. Ensures that all rooms and/or main areas are clean and ready for daily use, meetings, or special events by arranging tables and chairs. Prepares vacant rental units by cleaning, preparing and painting the unit to ensure it is ready to be occupied, as needed. Responsible for handling and/or coordinating services to resolve any maintenance-related emergencies, as needed.

Responsible for supervising contractors and vendors, ensuring their service meets expectations. Accountable for the work being performed in an efficient, prompt, professional and accurate manner and provides guidance, when necessary.

Available for on-call scheduling, including evenings and weekends, across buildings outside of immediate area of responsibility. Required to travel to multiple sites within assigned area, and to other buildings when on-call.

X Additional Requirements: Job duties may need to be performed outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be able to reach in all directions and climb a ladder, when needed.
