Job Summary
The Financial Analyst role provides structure, consolidation, and analysis of financial data; develops budgets, forecasts, and other financial reports. This role will be the primary business partner for the G&A organization. In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial decision-making by analyzing financial data, preparing reports and providing insight to help us achieve our growth goals.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data such as revenue, expenses, customer metrics and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Lead forecasting and budgeting activities for G&A including forecasting of headcount, contractors, technology spending, and systems.
- Provide information to management by assembling and summarizing data; preparing reports; making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations.
- Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
- Prepare and review financial variances between Actual/Budget/Forecast financial results.
- Under direction from senior members of FP&A team, gather, manage, and manipulate data from multiple sources for analysis; identify trends, extract insights and deliver actionable presentations of findings.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders from leadership to other business stakeholders.
- Support the maintenance and integrity of the Planning tool (Adaptive Insights) for all hierarchy updates/changes needed for actuals, budgets, and forecasts related to the areas of ownership.
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects as needed to support dynamic SaaS company.
- Other duties as assigned and required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or similar.
- 2+ years of experience in a corporate finance position.
- SaaS or technology sector experience required; exposure to identity verification, cybersecurity, or compliance SaaS is a plus.
- Experience with major reporting tools (NetSuite, Adaptive and Salesforce preferred).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for data-driven decision making and a collaborative spirit.
- Experience supporting a SaaS business model and understanding of the financial drivers of successful SaaS companies.
- Ability to work to deadlines and successfully work on multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision.
This position offers a total compensation range of $93,800.00 to $103,800.00 (inclusive of base salary and variable compensation, such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata’s benefit offerings can be found here. This range represents the high and low end of Imprivata’s compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate’s location, skills, experience, and qualification
