ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise the daily auditing of Cage summaries, Gaming Operation reports, Food and Beverage transactions, and retail reports to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Performs data entry and generates required management and regulatory reports from the slot tracking system.
- Audit and maintain slot machine data. Investigate and resolve variances in meter readings, jackpot payouts, and fills.
- Audit Table Games documentation, including master game sheet, open/closer slips, and credit/fill slips.
- Input and review Cage summary data to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal control procedures.
- Oversee and maintain all required paperwork for slot machine conversions, additions, deletions, and expansions.
- Monitor and implement updates to Colorado Division of Gaming and IRS regulations as they relate to auditing and compliance.
- Direct, train, and develop the Revenue Audit team members through hiring, scheduling, coaching, and motivating the team to achieve excellence.
- Maintains effective working relationships with team members, guests, and regulatory officials through professionalism and diplomacy.
- Keep the Director of Finance informed of all audit findings, concerns, or irregularities.
- Ensure all duties are performed in accordance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, Internal Control Minimum Procedures, and company policies.
- Performs other duties, including special projects as needed and directed.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Experience supervising, developing, and motivating a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other audit or accounting software.
- Knowledge of the Colorado Limited Gaming Act and Internal Control Minimum Procedures required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in the gaming industry.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in gaming revenue audit with significant knowledge of Cage and Floor operations.
- Must hold a valid Colorado Gaming License.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Essential duties involve performing physical exertion, including prolonged periods of sitting, occasional walking, climbing stairs, stooping, bending, stretching, reaching, and standing with standard breaks. Essential duties may require lifting up to 30 pounds of related equipment and general office supplies.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
$75,000+ annually based on experience
