Corporate Lending Officer - Commercial Underwriter

 

Job Summary

The Corporate Lending Officer reviews credit data and evaluates commercial loan requests with a high level of expertise to aid in the credit approval process with the goal of maximizing bank profits and minimize the risk of loss.

 

Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Analyzes credit data, financial statements and other financial information to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money on commercial loans and to access proper pricing and structure for said loans
  • Maintains a strong working knowledge of the bank's loan policies/philosophy, pertinent operating procedures and loan regulations
  • Provides assistance and support to Senior Lenders to determine strengths and weaknesses of a commercial credit
