Roles and Responsibilities Retail
- Management of retail services, including conducting store checks, reviewing stores for out of stocks, providing new product sell-in and cut-ins, rotation and cleaning of the displays where necessary, and removal of unsellable products.
- Breaking down freight deliveries / pallets from the store’s back dock, stocking the product on the shelf in the main dairy/deli case or secondary cooler locations, and organizing any “back stock” that remains.
- Creation of monthly reports, including distribution change, pricing, and voids.
- Provision of competitive information at store level such as retail pricing, competitive promotions, new items, discontinued items, and point of sales such as coupons.
- Be Cabot’s representative to the accounts and communicate customer requests and issues internally while developing a solution for the customer
- Seek out new opportunities for Cabot to drive revenue, new retail accounts
- Selling against promotional activity
- Oversee retail stores in assigned area, combination of independence and corporate accounts. Visit other accounts within the territory as requested from management.

- Cross functional team communication to ensure customer needs are met in a timely fashion
- Keep CRM and Trade Fund portals up to date
- Managing travel
Skills and Abilities
- Developing and adjusting weekly sales route lists based on the weekly needs
- Sales negotiation and closing
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Great interpersonal skills to help motivate other team members
- Understanding of the Microsoft suite including PowerBi, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Experience in sales and business development
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must possess a valid divers license
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience with Syndicated data, for example: Circana (IRI), Neilsen, or Numerator

- Starting salary range is anticipated to be between $52,000 - $57,000 yearly
