onsemi is seeking a People Data Analyst responsible for providing centralized, accurate, reliable, and accessible data solutions. As the Data Analyst, you will work closely with HR leadership to drive the people analytics for the organization at a global level. The role will also liaise with various cross-functional partners across business stakeholders to effectively organize and distill data, ask appropriate questions to understand requirements, and visualize and present complex data in a compelling manner to an Executive audience.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to understand people-related business problems and gathering relevant people data to analyze.
- Utilizing data science methodologies, HR industry knowledge to interpret or predict outcomes related to hiring, employee lifecycle activities, engagement & learning, compensation, and benefits.
- Create and share AI solutions to further advance the people analytics function at onsemi.
- Data-driven and highly analytical, you can translate data and insights into meaningful visualizations and stories to drive strategy, action, and decision-making at executive levels, within HR, and with people managers.
- Partner in reconciling ambiguous data.
- Identifies and recommends benchmarks for key performance metrics.
- Conducts Ad-hoc reporting and thorough research for best practices and to identify trends and patterns.
- Supports projects and any other related duties as required or assigned.
- Intake on business needs and apply contextual knowledge to scope data requests, synthesize insights, and recommend solutions to key business partners in collaboration with others.
- Effectively communicate with cross-functional partners and internal teams to deliver solutions in a timely fashion.
- Proactively manage stakeholder expectations, manage escalations, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Build dashboards and provide recommendations for data analytics to drive people forecasts.
Qualifications
- Experience working with HR/organizational people data highly preferred (e.g., headcount, turnover, recruiting metrics, and other people analytics).
- 6+ years’ Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience required with tools and languages such SQL (or similar language aimed at querying relational databases), R, Python, Snowflake and Tableau.
- Expert in Excel (including creating pivot reports, conditional formulas, and formatting, VLOOKUPs, and charts/graphs), PowerPoint, Tableau, Visualizations partnered with analytical and problem-solving experience.
- Experience initiating and driving projects to completion with minimal guidance.
- Experience having effective conversations with internal stakeholders about their support needs and requirements, managing the intake process, and asking the right questions to scope and solve the requests.
- Demonstrate judgment and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive people data and business issues.
- Experience with data management, specifically with building data systems and validating reports from disparate systems.
- Knowledge of Oracle systems or other HRIS systems is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate via verbal, written and presentation methods to all levels in the organization.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with ability to communicate analysis and implications.
