Do you have a knack for fostering positive behavior and creating a supportive learning environment? Holding Hands Inc. is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Behavior Technician.
Location: Burbank or Pasadena Clinic | Sessions are completed in one of our beautiful clinics, the clients home, or another community location.Â
- Â We work diligently to schedule your clients within 20/miles or 30/minutes (whichever is closest) to your home to minimize commute time.Â
 
Schedule: Part-Time | 15 - 25+ hours per week
- Sessions are primarily 3 - 4 hours each ff
 - Appointment based scheduling based on your availability and the clients availability.
 - Must be available at least 4 days per week, for a minimum of 15 hours after 3pm.
 
Key Responsibilities
- Work 1-on-1 with kids and teens with autism and other developmental needs
 - Follow a personalized therapy plan created by our clinical team
 - Use play, routines, and activities to help your client grow
 - Track progress by taking notes and recording behaviors
 - Encourage independence and build everyday life skills
 - Celebrate every win—big or small!
 
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- A high school grad (or above!) who enjoys working with children
 - At least 6 months of experience—paid or unpaid (volunteer or exposure) —supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
 - Someone energetic, patient, and ready to learn
 - Valid driver’s license, own reliable source of transportation, and active auto insurance
 - Willing to travel locally for sessions with clients (30 minutes or less)
 - Passion for working with children and youth with developmental disabilities
 
- Associate or Bachelor's degree Â
 - ABA experience or RBT CertifiedÂ
 - Experienced and comfortable managing a wide variety of maladaptive behaviors, ranging anywhere from non-compliance, elopement, verbal and physical aggression, self-injurious behaviors, etc.Â
 - Bilingual
