Injection Molding Process Technician Essential Functions/Duties:

  • Enter and maintain all process parameters for the Injection Molding Machines 
  • Perform all daily mold cleaning 
  • Document molding processes daily and ensures parameters are within tolerances set by the engineer  
  • Report any tooling issues to the tool show and engineering  
  • Must be able to troubleshoot part issues and make any process changes as necessary  
  • Maintain and inspect tools daily for excessive wear  
  • Ensure all connections are set up correctly  
  • Assist with tool changes when necessary  
  • Inspect and perform minor maintenance on the Molding Machine and tool  
  • Perform all duties in a safe & environmental manner.  
  • Participate in creating a safe-oriented work environment  
  • Use PPE as required  
  • Other duties as assigned  

 

 

Required Experience/Skills:

  • School diploma or equivalent (Associate degree or technical certification preferred
  • Proven experience as a Process Technician or in a similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting (Automotive preferred
  • Injection Molding required
  • Lean manufacturing 
  • TPM 
  • Hydraulics 
  • Pneumatic 
  • SMED 
  • Hot Casting Molds 
  • Automation
