YOUR MISSION (The Job Description)
If you can communicate, coordinate and work well with other teammates in serving our guests, then you will have a successful career with us. Most of all, we want you to have FUN since you will play a huge role in creating that memorable guest experience! This job entails taking orders for and serving food and beverage items to customers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and professional manner while using suggestive selling techniques. Regularly greet, communicate, and converse with all guests. Set up and maintain outlet in an attractive looking, organized, clean and standardized presentation. Make and serve coffee drinks. Educate and inform customers about the differences among coffee beans, coffee preparation and home brewing methods. Continuously check food to ascertain that appearance, temperature, and portions are correct. Be knowledgeable of all menu items. Be prepared to answer any guest questions in a direct, concise way. The candidate must also clear and clean tables as they are vacated. Listen and respond to guest requests or concerns. Due to the cyclical nature of ths.e hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.
