Description
- Unload containers and move pallets from receiving floor to assigned locations on the racks; to temporary staging locations; and between warehouse buildings
 - Consolidate pallets to organize warehouse space and increase/improve space utilization
 - Receive and distribute products or packages throughout facility
 - Assist with loading shipments for outbound trucks
 - Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
 - Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety
 - Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment
 - All other duties as assigned by manager

Requirements
Qualification requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
 - 2+ years of experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse environment
 - Must have Sit Down Forklift certification
 - High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others and promote a safe work environment
 - Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records
 - Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
 - Good communication skills
 - Team oriented thinking
 
Physical demands and abilities
- Regularly sitting on a powered industrial truck
 - Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time
 - Having good eye-hand-foot coordination
 - Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights
 - Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season
