Primary job responsibilities
- Technical management of Li-Ion battery development projects (HEV, PHEV, BEV) starting from the acquisition up to the series production phase for European OEM´s and/or Tier1 suppliers of the automotive industry
- Coordination of customer requirement analysis, risk and change management
- Monitoring and tracking of the project status in close cooperation with the OEM/Tier1 customer
- Clarification and alignment of technical details with the customer in close cooperation with the development headquarter in Korea
- Ensuring transparent communication of all related internal and external project partners
- Cross-locational reporting to the project manager
- Contribution in the advancement of technical project management tools, methods and processes
Professional and personal competences
- University degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, chemical engineering or comparable qualification
- At least 5 years of experience as an engineer in the automotive related industry; Experience in the field of e-mobility, particularly Li-Ion battery field preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of the automotive related industry, market trends, and relevant technologies
- Good knowledge of all MS Office applications; Experience with IBM Doors is an advantage
- Confident in delivering presentations to customers or the headquarters; Ability to lead meetings effectively
- Proactive, structured and self-dependent working style
- Business fluent in Korean and English communication; German language would be a plus
- Willingness to have regular business trips (ca. 30-40%)
