Givens Highland Farms is looking for a full-time Safety & Security Crew Leader to support our Black Mountain campus. The Crew Leader is the lead team member that is responsible for the oversight for all safety & security service delivery for their assigned shift and acts as the primary security point of contact. This position acts as the liaison between site management, leadership and assigned safety & security professionals. The schedule for this position is Monday - Wednesday, 7am to 7pm and Thursday 7am to 1pm.
What you'll do:
- Monitor, review and analyze information from materials, events, and the environment to detect or assess security related problems and report and act on each as appropriate
- Ensure all security professionals assigned to the shift complete and appropriately sign logs, sign-in sheets/time sheets and any other documents or forms as directed by management
- Fill in on shifts as needed or required
- Monitor alarm systems and respond accordingly
- Maintain information of active BOLO notices, trespass notices, and/or restraining order information for team member/resident concerns
- Manage unauthorized vehicles not willing to exit campus
- Patrol campus, both on foot and vehicle patrols
- Provide initial response to maintenance emergency calls after normal business hours
- Perform as a First Responder to resident emergency calls
- Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor
What you'll need:
- Must have certifications including CPR and First Aid, or ability to obtain such with 90-days
- Preferred candidate will have EMT certification
- Preferred candidate will have two years previous experience as a security officer, or similar
- Must possess a valid North Carolina Driver’s License
- High School or GED equivalent is preferred
