We are excited to onboard a Senior Salesforce Developer to our Wholesaler Experience team.
Background Details:
Lincoln’s IT organization is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join our Wholesaler Experience team, supporting Lincoln’s Distribution and Marketing Technology organization. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a team that has fully embraced agile methodologies and DevOps practices. As a senior developer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing innovative, scalable solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem and across integrated platforms. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful technology that drives business value and enhances user experience.
What you'll be doing
Content Guidelines:
- Design, develop, test, and support custom applications using both declarative and programmatic capabilities of the Salesforce Platform.
 - Build and maintain solutions that integrate Salesforce with a broader ecosystem of business-critical systems.
 - Stay current with the latest Salesforce features and releases, continuously advancing your skills through Trailhead modules and certifications.
 - Manage shifting priorities and multiple tasks effectively within tight deadlines.
 - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to meet delivery goals and ensure alignment with business needs.
 - Actively participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement through DevOps practices.
 - Translate abstract business requirements and use cases into scalable, technical solutions.
 - Serve as an active participant in Lincoln’s Salesforce Center of Excellence (COE), contributing to shared standards, best practices, and innovation across the enterprise.
 - Contribute to governance frameworks and ensure alignment with enterprise-wide Salesforce standards and compliance requirements.
 - Mentor junior developers and contribute to peer code reviews to uphold development quality and consistency.
 
What we’re looking for
Must-haves:
- 4–6 years of professional experience on the Salesforce Platform
 - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of a degree) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field
 - Strong experience in programmatic development using Lightning (Aura and Lightning Web Components), Visualforce, Apex, REST and SOAP APIs, and Test-Driven Development
 - Strong experience in declarative customizations including data model design, Lightning UI, business logic, security settings, mobile, and reporting/dashboard capabilities
 - Experience creating and interpreting UML diagrams
 - Hands-on experience with frequent and on-demand releases using modern CI/CD tools
 - Strong familiarity with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, including its data model, workflows, and integration with Salesforce Cloud and Service Cloud features.
 - Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification (required)
 - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
 - Experience working within an Agile team environment
 - Active participation in a Salesforce Center of Excellence (COE), contributing to shared standards, best practices, and enterprise-wide innovation
 - Demonstrated ability to optimize Salesforce org performance and reduce technical debt through scalable design
 
Nice-to haves:
- Experience within the Financial Service industry
 - Experience or familiarity with Salesforce AI tools such as Einstein GPT or Agentforce, as well as emerging technologies like Salesforce Data Cloud
 - Experience with ETL/Integration tools such as Informatica or MuleSoft
