Position: Meat Cutter - Full Time
Location: 8800 Huntington Rd, Vaughan, ON L4H 3M6
What you’ll do:
Provide exceptional service by accurately following product specifications to meet quality standards and customer expectations
Ensure precise cutting and portion control of various meat products, including special cuts and custom orders
Conduct regular quality checks on incoming meat, ensuring freshness and adherence to established standards
Present products in an appealing way, including proper packaging, labeling, and department set-up
Maintain product quality through rotation, storage, and date checks
Comply with all health, food safety, and workplace safety standards, including proper handling and cleaning of knives and equipment
Keep all work areas clean, sanitized, and organized at all times
What we are looking for:
Previous experience as a Meat Cutter or in a related role
Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of raw materials, product preparation, and quality control standards
Demonstrated arm-hand steadiness and knife-handling skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Commitment to food safety, health, and workplace safety standards
Work Environment:
Work is performed in a Meat Production Facility
Environment temperatures range between 0-4 degrees
