Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced ECT Recovery Nurse (RPN2) to join the Broadmeadows ECT team.

Services are provided through our five main campuses:

Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital.  In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.

 

About the Role:

This role requires a ECT recovery nurse who aims to strive for excellence in patient care and to provide a positive consumer experience.

 

The position will work closely with the ECT Coordinator to achieve individuals who are receiving ECT Treatment whilst living the Northern Health Values.

 

This role is responsible for ensuring positive outcomes for individuals who are receiving ECT Treatment whilst displaying the Northern Health Values.

 

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience and good working knowledge of providing care to patient's receiving ECT; including preparation and discharge of outpatients receiving ECT.
  • Proven ability to Liaise with the interdisciplinary health care team to achieve the desired patient outcomes
  • Demonstrated capability to provide evidence-based nursing care
  • Well-developed communication skills and eagerness to contribute to a positive culture in the ECT suite and between other stakeholders
