About the Role:
Altera is seeking a visionary and experienced Digital Adoption Lead to spearhead enterprise-wide digital enablement and transformation initiatives. This role is responsible for driving user adoption of IT systems and platforms through strategic change management, training, and the deployment of digital adoption technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT change management, user experience, and hands-on experience with platforms such as Whatfix, WalkMe, or Pendo.
Responsibilities:
Lead the digital adoption strategy across enterprise IT platforms to maximize user engagement and productivity.
Implement and manage digital adoption tools (e.g., Whatfix) to deliver contextual, in-app guidance and self-service support.
Collaborate with IT, HR, and business stakeholders to identify adoption challenges and design targeted interventions.
Develop and execute change management plans to support technology rollouts and upgrades.
Create and maintain digital learning content, walkthroughs, tooltips, and onboarding flows.
Monitor adoption metrics, user feedback, and performance analytics to continuously improve the digital experience.
Facilitate training sessions, webinars, and workshops to support user readiness.
Ensure alignment with compliance, audit, and regulatory standards.
Salary Range:
The pay range below is for Bay Area California only. Actual salary may vary based on a number of factors including job location, job-related knowledge, skills, experiences, trainings, etc. We also offer incentive opportunities that reward employees based on individual and company performance.
$142,600 - $206,500 USD

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Organizational Development, or related field.
10+ years of experience in IT change management, digital enablement, or user experience.
Proven experience with digital adoption platforms such as Whatfix, WalkMe, or Pendo.
Strong understanding of ITIL and change management frameworks.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and instructional design skills.
Experience with enterprise platforms such as Workday, ServiceNow, Oracle, SAP, or similar.
