Facility and Equipment Maintenance Technician at Aagard

• Equipment Reliability

Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on CNC and other manufacturing equipment.

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues quickly and accurately.

Calibrate and fine-tune machines to maintain peak precision and performance.

• Facility Performance and Safety

Maintain and repair facility systems including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and other building infrastructure.

Monitor and document facility conditions to ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment.

Follow OSHA guidelines and promote a strong safety culture through daily practices and collaboration.

• Continuous Improvement and Maintenace Excellence

Use or learn CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools to log, track, and analyze maintenance activities.

Identify recurring issues and propose long-term solutions that improve machine uptime and reliability.

Stay current on new technologies, maintenance techniques, and equipment advancements to expand skills.

Partner with cross-functional teams to improve maintenance processes and overall equipment effectiveness.

Knowledge and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required; Technical certification or associate’s degree preferred.
• 3 years of experience in CNC machine maintenance and facility maintenance.
• Experience with or ability to learn CMMS software with provided training.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. 
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and CAD drawings.
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to walk or stand up to 100 percent of the time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or climb.
• Ability to operate or be trained to operate a forklift.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain a DOT health card
