Join our renowned Neuro-Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus Divisions at the Stein Eye Institute in Westwood, where you’ll provide expert orthoptic care for both adults and children while playing a prominent role in education. We are looking for a professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and eager to contribute to our education and training programs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Evaluation of vision and detection/monitoring of amblyopia in children and adults.Assessment and non-surgical management of ocular motility and strabismus disorders using optical correction and orthoptic exercises.Evaluation and treatment of binocular sensory function, including stereopsis.Routine neuro-ophthalmic testing such as visual fields and OCT, along with taking preliminary histories and preparing patients for medical review in an extended role capacity.Playing a prominent role in teaching, supervising orthoptic students, medical trainees, and fellows across multiple disciplines.Salary Range: $45.48-59.61 Hourly
