Job Description:Sika is looking for an experienced District Sales Manager to join it's growing team in the Charlotte, NC area for our Roofing business. The District Sales Manger will play a key role in:
- Positioning Sika as a company that provides quality products and service
- Supporting the activities of the Regional Manager as required
- Communicate and supervise within the District Regional sales strategies, goals, objectives and plans to meet District budgets, discount pricing and gross margin objectives
- Support the activities of the Regional Manager as required
- Maintain manufacturer representatives to accomplish District sales goals and objectives
- Manage, mentor and coach direct sales people within the District to accomplish sales goals and objectives
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience
- A minimum of 5 years of work experience with single-ply roofing application
- Previous management experience highly desirable
- Sales experience within roofing industry or building industry
- Technical knowledge of single-ply roof membrane installation, ideally Sarnafil
- Computer proficient
