SUMMARY | DOT COMPLIANCE MANAGER:
EWI is seeking a DOT Compliance Manager who is willing to train and counsel our Field Services and ER fleets on effective ELD maintenance. This individual will manage violation messages and make sure that our equipment operators and drivers are following proper HOS rules and maintaining accurate logs. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS | DOT COMPLIANCE MANAGER

The priority of the DOT Compliance Manager is ELD Management (Geotab), DOT Compliance and Hazmat training: 

· HOS compliance 

· Unassigned logs 

· DVIR reports 

· Safety training development 

· Pre and post trip inspections 

· Driver score cards (CSA) 

· Onboarding ELD/Geotab training for NON-CDL and CDL drivers 

· Continued education for Hazmat drivers 

· Coaching/counseling per violation trend 

· Remedial training after coaching sessions to encourage overall improvement

· Must have well developed analytic and problem-solving skills; must be able to analyze problem and present possible solution prior to bringing to supervisor 

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK | DOT COMPLIANCE MANAGER 

This is a full-time office position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Flexibility in hours is required and overtime may be needed due to business requirements. 

PAY EXPECTATION | DOT COMPLIANCE MANAGER 

Hourly wages depending on experience. 

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE | DOT COMPLIANCE MANAGER 

· 1 year of Safety / DOT Compliance experience – specifically ELD management, conflict resolution, safety compliance, etc. 

· High School or GED equivalent 

· Background in or knowledge of DOT safety procedures and processes 

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE | DOT COMPLIANCE MANAGER 

· Associate's degree or higher– Business or Safety related 

· OSHA 10 or 30 

· General knowledge of EPA and DOT compliance regulations 

· Safety certifications, training and qualifications in OSHA and environmental safety programs (BCSP certifications) 

· HAZWOPER 40 

OTHER DUTIES | DOT COMPLIANCE MANAGER

WORK ENVIRONMENT | DOT COMPLIANCE MANAGER 

· This job operates in a professional office environment. 

· This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. 


PAY RANGE

• $55,000 - $70,000 annually
