Job Title: Field Assistant

Position Type: Full-Time


About the Role

The Field Assistant supports the daily operations of our construction staffing team by working primarily with sales reps. This role ensures job sites are properly staffed, employees are supported, and clients receive consistent visibility, and high-quality service. The Field Assistant is in the field daily, maintaining visibility with both workers and clients, ensuring smooth communication between clients and sales reps. 


Key Responsibilities:

Field Personnel Management 

  •  Conduct worker check-ins at job sites to confirm attendance and punctuality.
  •  Verify that field personnel have appropriate PPE and understand site requirements.
  •  Assist with daily worker assignments, schedule changes, and setting up field employees for job sites as needed.
  •  Field any worker concerns such as payroll questions, transportation issues, or safety needs and escalate to sales rep/proper dept for immediate   resolution. 
  •  Collect employee timecards and communicate updates to sales reps.
  •  Support onboarding of new hires by reviewing timecard procedures, site rules, PPE requirements, and safety expectations.
  •  Perform job site visits to ensure proper staffing levels and adherence to safety policies.

Client Relations 

  •  Visit active job sites to maintain positive client relationships and ensure continued client satisfaction.
  •   Serve as the additional, on-site point of contact for client needs, relaying updates to sales reps.
  •  Confirm during on-site visits with clients that staffing levels meet project requirements.
  •  Communicate worker performance feedback from clients to sales reps. At the direction of sales rep, assist in resolving immediate job site challenges, such as worker absences or performance issues.
  •  Deliver materials, PPE, timecards, or additional workers as needed.
  •  Provide daily field updates and reports to sales reps for clients and field employee follow-up.


Qualifications

  • Experience in staffing, construction, or workforce management preferred.  
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, field-based environment.  
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) REQUIRED.
