About the Team:
The CrowdStrike Technical Operation Data Analytics organization is growing an application development team. Our organization specializes in solving elusive problems. We are a hybrid team of scientists, developers, and analysts who directly support CrowdStrike leadership with custom and off-the-shelf data applications.
Our team offers the opportunity to engage directly with advanced technologies projects while improving our ability to protect customers (e.g. startups, Fortune 500, nonprofit, etc.) across all industries from global security threats.
About the Role:
We're seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain data and reporting infrastructure supporting CrowdStrike's analytics needs.
What You'll Do:
Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Airflow
Configure and manage Airbyte connections and data synchronization
Develop and maintain Superset dashboards and analytics solutions
Write efficient Python code for data processing and automation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data architecture
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
5+ years of relevant data engineering experience
Advanced Python programming (5+ years experience)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience with data security and compliance requirements
Expert knowledge of Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration
Hands-on experience with Airbyte or similar for data integration and ETL processes
Strong experience with Apache Superset or similar for data visualization and analytics
Knowledge and experience with DBT and OpenMetadata
SQL and data modeling expertise
Experience with the major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP,, Azure, OCI)
Bonus Points:
Master's degree in relevant field
Experience with cybersecurity data
Contributions to open-source projects
Knowledge of machine learning pipelines
This role reports to the Engineering Manager and is integral to the Technical Operation Data Analytics and Infrastructure team.
