Teacher - Math - Mt. Carmel High School - Trimester 2 (November 10, 2025 - February 27, 2026) at Poway Unified School District

The Poway Unified School District is seeking applications to fill a math teaching position for Trimester 2 (November 10, 2025 through February 27, 2026) at Mt. Carmel High School.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: All required documents MUST be scanned and attached prior to submitting an application for this position. Incomplete applications will not be considered. 1. Applicants must have an English Language Learners (CLAD credential) in order to be considered for the position. 2. Copy of single subject teaching credential (Mathematics or other valid California teaching credential authorizing teaching mathematics). 3. Copy of Transcript (Official transcripts are required upon hiring). 4. Current resume. 5. Letter of introduction, addressed to Kelly Burke, Ed.D., Director of Human Resources. 6. Three (3) letters of reference, signed/dated within the past 12 months. Applicants are encouraged to include at least one (1) letter of reference from a supervising or site administrator. Applicants who have never held a full-time position, are encouraged to have a letter of reference from a site administrator where they completed their student teaching. 7. For phone references, be sure to include the reference's most current cell phone number and email address. 8. Applicants must submit all required documents to be considered, including a valid teaching credential. CREDENTIALS REQUIRED: A valid California Single Subject Teaching Credential - Mathematics or other valid California teaching credential authorizing teaching mathematics.

Up to 10 years of service credit will be granted resulting in placement up to Step 11
