About the EDGE Program: 

The Exploration, Development, Growth and Experience (EDGE) Program supports DTCC’s commitment to identifying and selecting diverse early career talent across the organization, ensuring you have a comprehensive understanding of our industry, our company, the technical / functional skills needed for the various business areas, and the leadership competencies needed for overall success within DTCC.

The impact you will have in this role

As a participant in the Cybersecurity EDGE Program within the IT Cybersecurity and Platform Strategy department, you will play a critical role in protecting our organization from cyber threats while developing a strong foundation in cybersecurity. Through this 18-month rotational program designed for recent college graduates, you will directly contribute to strengthening our security posture by working hands-on across three essential domains: Identity Access Management, Threat and Vulnerability Management, and Incident Response. Each rotation lasts six months and is designed to build foundational knowledge, technical skills, and cross-functional collaboration. The program culminates in full-time role placement opportunities based on performance and business needs.  Your efforts will ensure that access to critical systems remains secure, security risks are proactively identified and mitigated, and the organization is prepared to detect and respond to incidents in real time. 

Your Primary Responsibilities

  • Support the management and protection of system and data access by assisting with credential management, conducting access reviews, and enforcing security policies within the Identity Access Management (IAM) rotation. 
  • Participate in proactive security measures by conducting vulnerability scans, analyzing threat intelligence, and assisting in remediation planning as a member of the Threat and Vulnerability Management (Cyber Green) team. 
  • Contribute to real-time detection and response efforts by supporting investigations, containment, and post-incident analyses with the Incident Response (Cyber Blue) team. 
  • Collaborate across functions to develop both technical and professional skills, preparing for transition into a full-time cybersecurity role upon successful completion of the program.

Selection and Program Timeline: (timing may vary) 

  • August – October 2025: Applications open  
  • October – December 2025: Interview and Selection process  
  • January – July 2026: Early engagement and onboarding process  
  • July 2026: Start of program  

Qualifications: 

  • Candidates must be working towards a bachelor’s degree in the following curriculums and graduating no later than May 2026: Cybersecurity, Computer Science, MIS, Technology Management, or any other related field
  • Candidates must have authorization to work permanently in the US without the need for sponsorship (now or in the future) 
  • Candidates must have minimum of a 3.2 GPA upon graduation 

Talents Needed for Success: 

  • Must demonstrate superior analytical and communication skills  
  • Strong interest in the financial services industry, with previous internship experience a plus  
  • [Ability to engage cross-functional teams and promote a security-first culture

 

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
