 Join the rehabilitation team at Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego as a Rehab Therapy Aide. Work with experienced therapists at this Level 1 Trauma Center, assisting a variety of patients with wound care and transporting. The ideal candidate values teamwork, communication, and attention to detail to provide exceptional patient care.

 

As an aide, you will:

·        assist in providing age-appropriate services for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including direct treatment, under appropriate licensed supervision, to individuals and groups, evaluation and selection of adaptive equipment

·        participate in quality improvement programs, and documentation of services according to hospital and departmental standards.

·        Do various administrative tasks

Required:

·        High school graduate or equivalent. 

·        BLS (American Heart Assoc.)

Preferred:

·        Previous experience working under the direct supervision of a physical/occupational therapist or assistant in an outpatient and/or inpatient acute care setting recommended.
