We are now looking for a Senior Growth Manager, Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO), 7 month FTC to join our Marketing and Reader Revenue team! In this role you will lead the strategy, planning, and delivery of initiatives focused on maximising conversion outcomes for the direct reader revenue products.

About the Role

  • Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of CRO initiatives across owned digital channels (website, Apple News, landing page and checkout journeys)
  • Lead A/B testing, multivariate testing, and experimentation, applying a test-and-learn mindset to optimise conversion outcomes.
  • Own and optimise a globally aligned discount strategy.
  • Develop and implement landing page and on-platform channel strategies, ensuring experiences are user-focused and high performing.
  • Collaborate with Product & Engineering and Design/UX teams to ensure seamless customer experiences that support conversion goals.
  • Monitor and analyse performance metrics, identifying optimisation opportunities and delivering actionable insights.
  • Partner with all relevant teams to ensure conversion optimisation is integrated with acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Provide regular reporting and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

About You

  • Proven experience leading conversion rate optimisation initiatives in digital environments (web, app, or subscription-based products).
  • Strong background in experimentation, A/B testing, and analytics.
  • Experience collaborating with Product, Design/UX, Engineering, and Marketing teams.
  • Knowledge of CRO tools, web analytics, and customer journey optimisation.
  • Track record of improving conversion performance through structured, data-led approaches.
  • Experience with stakeholder management and influencing across functions.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Analytical, data-driven, and comfortable making evidence-based recommendations.
  • Proactive collaborator with excellent stakeholder management skills.

We operate in a hybrid environment working 3 days a week from our offices in Kings Cross and 2 days a week remotely.
