Marketing Manager — Shaver Hall (NYC)

Location: Midtown Manhattan (on-site; evenings/weekends aligned to event calendar)
Reports to: Director of Marketing & Communications (close partnership with General Manager)
Type: Full-time, Exempt

About Shaver Hall

Shaver Hall is Food Hall Co.’s new Manhattan destination for dining, drinks, entertainment and live music, opening February 2026. We host a high-volume calendar of community activations, and brand partnerships that bring New Yorkers and visitors together.

Role Summary

Own the marketing engine for Shaver Hall—from event go-to-market to always-on social media, community partnerships, and analytics. You’ll plan and launch campaigns that drive foot traffic, and earned attention, while protecting and elevating the brand.

 

Compensation (NYC Pay Transparency)

  • Base salary range: $85,000–$110,000
  • Target bonus: 10% (based on venue performance and individual KPIs)

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Brand & Communications Management

  • Champion Shaver Hall’s brand positioning and guest promise across all channels and touchpoints (web, email/SMS, social, digital signage, on-site collateral).
  • Ensure all consumer-facing messaging aligns with revenue goals and delivers a best-in-class guest experience.
  • Maintain brand standards, asset libraries, and messaging frameworks; brief designers/creators and QA output.

Event Marketing (Concerts, Tentpoles & Hall Programming)

  • Build go-to-market plans for entertainment and tiered hall events (positioning, messaging, calendars, briefs, listings, email/SMS hooks).
  • Manage promotional timelines, content capture, and night-of amplification.

Social Media — Strategy, Content & Community

  • Own channel strategy, voice, and publishing across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook; daily community management and DMs.
  • Build comprehensive content calendars for each social channel.
  • Produce and publish short-form video (Reels/TikTok), Stories, carousels; develop a branded UGC pipeline and manage rights.
  • Launch and manage a NYC creator/influencer program (briefs, contracts, offers, tracking), including comped experiences and content deliverables.
  • Coordinate with paid media partners on social ads; write briefs, approve creative, and monitor performance.

Community & Partnerships (NYC Focus)

  • Build neighborhood and citywide partnerships (BIDs/DMOs, hotels, universities, cultural orgs, gyms/coworking, arts/music orgs).
  • Execute cross-promotions, street-team activations, sampling, and “event + offer” bundles to drive trial and repeat visits.
  • Cultivate media relationships; ensure events/activations are listed and pitched; support press nights and talent/VIP hospitality.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Ship monthly marketing metrics covering traffic, engagement, conversion, and F&B lift on event nights.
  • Maintain campaign scorecards; translate insights into next steps.

Budget & Operations

  • Work with Director of Marketing on managing the working marketing budget; handle vendor setup, invoicing, and reconciliations.
  • Brief and manage freelancers/creators; source and negotiate as needed.
  • Maintain calendars (marketing, editorial, event) and project workflows (e.g., Monday.com), hitting deadlines with cross-functional partners.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner tightly with Entertainment, Beverage, Operations, and Private Events to align priorities and share results.
  • Support Private Events demand generation through market relationships and targeted campaigns.

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years progressive marketing experience in hospitality, entertainment/venues, or multi-location consumer brands.
  • Portfolio of event campaigns and social content with measurable impact (include links or samples).
  • Hands-on content skills: short-form video, copywriting, light design/editing (Canva/Adobe).
  • Fluency with IG/TikTok/FB, scheduling/listening.
  • Strong project management; calm under show-time pressure; willing to work evenings/weekends aligned to event calendar.
  • NYC market knowledge and creator/media relationships strongly preferred.

Schedule & Physical Requirements

  • Regular nights/weekends based on event calendar; ability to move around the venue for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. as needed.
