The base salary listed is a range. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for a bonus, providing the opportunity to earn additional compensation.

This is a remote position, preferably based in the United States, with an estimated travel requirement of 25%. The role offers remote work while requiring occasional in-person engagement to support business needs

Position Summary

The Global Marketing Manager is responsible for driving business growth and leading global marketing initiatives for Zinpro products and solutions for our Poultry segment and various corporate initiatives.  In this highly critical and visible role, this position is accountable for end-to-end innovative marketing and successful strategic development through execution. This includes strategic planning, business plan development, market analysis, competitive strategies, messaging and content creation for products, solutions and services.  The Global Marketing Manager will partner closely with the Senior Global Marketing Director and the Global Poultry team to build and execute innovative go-to-market plans that align to Zinpro’s business objectives and goals.

This position will directly impact the global marketing strategy, develop value proposition messaging and define compelling differentiation that sets Zinpro apart from the competition.   Additionally, this role will lead the shift from marketing strategy to execution, while working in a fast-paced environment and successfully partnering with regional marketing, commercialization, sales, technical services and research teams across the global organization.

Essential Functions

  • Design, implement and manage key marketing initiatives that are effective and align with Zinpro’s business strategies.       
  • Build global marketing campaigns and communications that drive brand awareness, thought leadership and business results in partnership with global, cross functional teams.
  • Analyze competitive marketing strategies and tactics for poultry segments to develop a comprehensive view of the competitive landscape and partner with global species teams to develop strategies to clearly differentiate Zinpro.
  • Help shape the overarching Zinpro global marketing strategy, culture and future direction, by serving as a member of the Global Marketing Leadership Team
  • Collaborate across regional business enterprises to adapt the marketing strategy to meet local, species-specific market needs and to ensure strategies are relevant.
  • Oversee and evaluate market and customer research to adjust marketing strategy to meet changing competitive conditions and gain deep understanding of critical business insights.
  • Partner with Zinpro’s external agencies and internal corporate brand, digital and regional marketing teams to deliver effective marketing communication strategies and plans to achieve growth expectations.  
  • Drive global message development by partnering with regional marketing on key initiatives. conferences and customer events.  
  • Lead content strategy, development and key messaging for both corporate and targeted species segments that tie to company vision, brand positioning, competitive advantages, including the company websites, blog, email campaigns and social media.
  • Team Leadership - manage and coach one direct report: Global Research and Technical Services Associate (Poultry) 

Qualifications

Minimum Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, animal science, or related field
  • Experience and knowledge in poultry marketing.  
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing management and sales development
  • Familiar with variety of global marketing and animal nutrition concepts, practices and procedures  
  • Proven track record of success in delivering results, leading and working with global and cross functionals teams across multiple disciplines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (both oral and written)
  • Strong leadership, planning, project management and execution skills
  • Experience managing budgets, developing business cases and ROI models.
  • Proven adaptability with a high sense of urgency and comfort working with ambiguity; fast learner who identifies and gains knowledge necessary to be successful.
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict management skills 
  • An independent, strategic, and creative thinker who is a strong team player (no job is too small or too large) and willing to take on additional responsibilities as necessary.
  • Proven ability to lead, facilitate, influence and organize across groups at multiple levels of an organization.
  • Proven experience developing and cultivating strong working relationships and credibility with global stakeholders.
  • Critical thinking ability, independently and proactively identify problems, propose solutions and execute.

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in business administration, marketing, animal science, or related field 
  • Experience with a global matrixed organization
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com
  • Preferred location for this role is within the United States

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

This job operates in a professional corporate office environment. 

Preferred location for this role is within the United States– Open to candidates in Zinpro’s global footprint with the ability to work remotely. 

Schedule Requirements

This is a full-time position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel Requirements

This position requires an estimated 25% travel, but it may be higher depending on business needs. Required travel for global meetings, customer visits and other internal meetings.
