Position Summary:
This is a temporary, seasonal position that provides office assistance to the Agency and Foundation staff from November 2025 to January 2, 2026 for the ‘Hope for the Holidays’ campaign. This is a part-time position, working 25 hours per week.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Assist Agency and Foundation staff with receiving, sorting, and inventorying donations.
- Assist staff with package pick-up and deliveries from donors.
- Assisting staff in maintaining gift inventory and clean up as needed.
- Maintain and clean the inventory area; disposed of trash when needed.
- Assist Purchasing Agent and other Administrative staff with various tasks.
- Perform daily routine administrative tasks such as mail sorting and delivery, package opening, and parcel pick-up if necessary.
- Provide general assistance to the team as needed.
- Other position-related duties as assigned by Director of Administrative Operations.
Organizational Relationships: This position reports directly to Director of Administrative Operations.
Position Requirements:
- Ability to commit to a schedule of: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am –2:00 pm, with flexibility as needed.
- High school diploma (or) GED Equivalent
- Ability to organize and effectively manage, in a timely fashion, the varied tasks of the position.
- Integrity, proven reliability and dependability
- A positive, warm and caring mindset
- Must be capable of the frequently performing the following:
- Stand for long periods of time
- Stoop, bend, kneel or crouch, if needed
- Lift, carry and move packages, up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to pass the required pre-employment background checks, to include fingerprinting.
