The Position
Wilson Elser’s Livonia office is currently seeking a General Liability Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team of litigators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end, including complex and high exposure cases, from inception to resolution.
- Collaborate closely with other attorneys and Partners on complex legal matters.
- Regularly handle court appearances and depositions.
- Communicate proactively with clients, keeping them informed with regular status updates.
- Contribute to legal strategy and case development with a focus on client goals and outcomes.
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited Law School
- Admitted to practice in the state of Michigan
- Minimum 7+ years of professional liability, medical malpractice, and products liability.
- Experience in general liability, including premises liability, trucking and transportation is a plus.
- Superior communication skills (both written and oral) to effectively advocate for clients and present arguments.
- Experience with legal project management is a plus.
