Primary Objective:

Follow all PCB procedures and forms in compliance to ISO 9001, AS 9100.

 Follows established procedures, performs a number of tasks in the curing of raw cable.

Major Areas of Accountability

  1. Cooperates as a team member of the department to help best serve the needs of the customer.

 

  1. Responsible for knowing and using proper ESD procedures as outlined in the ESD manual.

 

  1. Complies with all aspects of the AS9100 Quality System. 

 

  1. Understands and promotes our quality statement of "Total Customer Satisfaction". 

 

  1. Responsible for operating and basic maintenance of equipment such cable winder, molder, & raw cable equipment.  Knowledge and operation of laser marker machine, laser welder and leak tester.

 

  1. Responsible for new product setups and/or programing.  

 

  1. Verifies conformance of finished work to ensure compliance to company specifications.  For raw cable, uses spark tester to determine quality of cable.  For laser welds, uses a microscope to inspect welds for stress, holes, cracks and appearance to determine compliance and quality. 

 

  1. Makes necessary changes or modifies programs with limited supervision.

 

  1. Able to work in multiple areas within the service department.

 

  1. Maintains neat and orderly work area.

 

  1. Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

 

Education

High School graduate or equivalent

Experience

3 to 6 years or equivalent. Basic operating and problem-solving knowledge of laser marking, welding machines and/or raw cable machine
