Description

As a Quality Control (QC) Techniacian, you will be responsible for testing or inspecting all of our products after production or in association with customer items returned for repair. You will execute Factory Acceptance Tests and other tests or inspections as required to ensure that our customers only receive defect-free products. In addition, in support of special projects you may also be expected to help assemble passthrough items as part of the final test sequence. You will use electronics equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, multimeters, and others during testing. You will be expected to operate a variety of software tools to access test plans and document test results and defects. 


You will need to be familiar with testing electronic products, be able to read circuit diagrams, follow detailed test steps, and troubleshoot faults or defects. You will test system functionality on developed platforms that support a variety of RF or cellular survey and signals analysis applications.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Inspect, test and certify all manufactured equipment and accessories shipping to customers.
  • Assemble, Dress and Pack passthrough items to assure no out of box failures for the customer.
  • Execute Factory Acceptance Test plans and procedures with repeatable precision.
  • Document test results in formal test reports and present findings to management weekly.
  • Document and track all identified defects and present findings to company leadership.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Candidate should have knowledge of electronics and electronics repair with experience and aptitude to mechanical assembly 
  • Candidate must have the ability follow both detailed and summarized Test Plans.
  • Candidate must have 2 to 5 years of experience as a QA Technician, Electronics Technician or Mechanical Assembler or equivalent Military Experience.
  • Extremely Strong attention to detail.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preference will be given to candidates that can demonstrate basic soldering skills and/or have current IPC J-STD-001, IPC/WHMA-A-620 and IPC-A-610 certifications.
  • Preference will be given to those with experience trouble shooting systems to board level circuit or component level root cause.
  • The candidate must be able to obtain a clearance when sponsored by QRC

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
  • Electronic Training Certificate, and Military Electronics Training or applicable AA degree is preferred.
