If you are an EH&S Coordinator professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Stafford, TX location, you will report to the Site EHS Manager. In this developmental/support role, you will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and administration of EHS Programs.

 

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Ensure regulatory compliance by implementing procedures, maintaining records, and filing reports with agencies like OSHA, TCEQ, EPA, and DOT.
  • Conduct safety audits and monitor EHS standards to meet internal and external compliance requirements and prevent violations.
  • Manage EHS training programs, providing technical instruction and overseeing employee compliance with safety protocols.
  • Coordinate environmental initiatives, including waste disposal, recycling, sustainability, and regulatory reporting.
  • Support incident management by partnering with HR to investigate and document workplace injuries and advise on regulatory changes impacting operations.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 4+ years of relevant experience

  • Practical knowledge of regulatory requirements as it pertains to OSHA
  • Shall be required to pass DOT, RCRA, HAZWOPER 40hr certifications
  • Lift to 25 lbs. regularly 
     

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements pertaining to Environmental Protection Agency regulations and TCEQ
  • Certifications greater than OSHA 30
