The Channel Sales team is responsible for selling products and services to a wide range of highly complex or major accounts and customers and execution of sales plans, targets and budgets within the overall regional and business unit sales strategy. Accountable for increasing sales/client ratio and expanding customer base.This role in summary
A key business development role - responsible for leveraging your understanding of the SDA market & existing relationships to develop and grow sales of KitchenAid SDA products at key accounts, ensuring that all individual KPI’s are met.
As the Key Account Manager you are responsible for identifying, establishing, developing and managing business relationships with nominated E-Commerce accounts (predominantly Amazon) to grow sales and meet volume, value and profit targets whilst building a foundation for sustained success for KitchenAid.
Your responsibilities will include
- Business development of targeted accounts with the ambition of sustainable strong growth.
- Strategic development of each Category through analytics, introduction of new activities and campaigns targeting continuous optimization of conversion.
- Monitoring and optimization of the account performance down to single product performance.
- Responsible for management and optimization of digital content, digital PoS execution and display share.
- Develop, establish and maintain strong collaboration and alignment with external customer teams & internal departments.
- Work with the Marketing team to set and implement strategies for new products and yearly promotional plans.
- Identify customer needs and work with Trade Marketing, Category Management & Supply Chain to ensure these needs are met.
- Maintain awareness of market trends, dynamics, and competitor activity in accordance with antitrust law.
- Collect and analyze sales & relevant Marketing data and trends.
- Expand your current portfolio and introduce new products in line with KitchenAid's goals.
- Use the account budgets in line with trade policies and ensure a positive return on investment ("ROI").
- Manage administration of accounts and the role efficiently.
- Negotiate commercial contracts.
- Forecast business in line with Company requirements and deliver and improve high forecasting accuracy and promo planning.
- Embrace the role of "Ambassador" of the Company and the Brand and ensure brand consistency.
Minimum requirements
- 3-5 years experience in Amazon & other E-Commerce Accounts: You bring extensive knowledge of Amazon and E-Commerce Account Management, with established relationships and a track record of generating sustainable strong growth and profitability management.
- Proven Multi-Country Account Management experience, with strong commercial acumen and numerical skills & very good understanding of the Amazon operating system (search criteria/optimization, rankings, content management and optimization, campaign management).
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and meet customer needs.
- Skilled in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Google equivalents as well as relevant tools to track, analyze and manage E-Commerce Accounts, especially Amazon.
- Highly self-motivated, team player with a flexible attitude, and able to work quickly and under pressure in a competitive environment.
- Fluent in English, other languages are beneficial.
