How You’ll Make a Difference (Essential Functions)
The Technology Project Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day and long-term coordination of technology projects across IT, BI, and EHR and executing to successful completion enterprise technology projects and associated deliverables. Other duties include identifying and leading high value process improvement initiatives, developing/maintaining governance policies, and assisting in end user adoption/training. This role requires someone who is detail oriented, excellent verbal and written communication, and enjoys collaboration.
Key Responsibilities

Project Management
-
Serve as the primary contact for technology projects, working with project teams, coordinating communication as needed.

Coordinate project development activities, resources, and information.

Liaise with stakeholders to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives in collaboration with Technology leaders.

Assign tasks to internal Technology teams/members and assist with schedule management.

Analyze risks and opportunities.
-
Monitor the progress of projects and handle issues that occur.

Communicate project status to stakeholders and Technology team.

Problem solve and troubleshoot project issues and barriers, in conjunction with other Technology team members.

Plan meetings and organize project logistic.

Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.

Maintain issue resolution log and escalate as appropriate.

Provide assistance and support to the Technology leaders as needed.

Process Improvement
-
Analyze existing operations, systems, processes, and metrics to identify pain points and prioritize high-value improvement opportunities.

Support identification and prioritization of future operational improvement projects across operational areas of the organization.

Create process recommendation documents, including presentations, process maps, supporting metrics, business requirements, and related impact analyses.

Lead the development of recommendations by other management team and apply Lean/Six Sigma concepts and techniques to process improvement initiatives.

Collaborate with stakeholders from across the organization and functional teams to help deliver improvements that balance competing priorities.

Work across multiple concurrent operational improvement projects.

Evaluate the quality and system efficiency and create strategies for improvement.

Technology Governance
-
Assist in developing and maintaining Technology department governance standards.

Ensure policy documents reflect governance and policy development best practices.

Assist in defining architecture or a business initiative by providing the appropriate guidance to achieving the organizations’ aspiration.

End User Relationship

Assess, build and implement Technology Team’s communication and education strategies.

Facilitate end user adoption and understanding of critical organization initiatives and technologies.

You Bring (Qualifications)
-
High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and work experience
-
Two years or more project management experience
-
Familiarity with agile project management and tools.
-
Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role
-
Experience in project management, from conception to delivery
-
Experience in identifying, communicating and managing high value process improvement opportunities
-
An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans
-
Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
-
Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
-
Working knowledge of project management tools (i.e Microsoft Project and Microsoft Planner)

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
-
Ability to be flexible in time and task to meet organizational needs
-
Ability to maintain confidentiality about patients, families, caregivers, staff donors, and organizational intellectual property
