Job Description:
The Associate Customer Integration Engineer will be the liaison between ATI and the OEM on Allison product integration. The Customer Integration Engineer will provide customers with technical support relative to the integration of the Allison transmission systems into the OEM chassis. This role will be responsible to execute the business strategy at the direction of their manager. The Customer Integration Engineer will develop a basic understanding of customer requirements and will partner with management to resolve solutions for their OEM. This role will also need to collaborate within the department to achieve goals.
Responsibilities:
Engage with assigned OEMs and work towards optimized application/installation/integration designs of Allison products. (Optimized means that Allison product performance meets end-user customer expectations for performance, reliability, and feature content)
- Forward information on customer activities relevant to Allison's interest.
- Elevate OEM deviations from Allison TechData to supervisor
- Elevate OEM requests for new/modified Allison feature content to supervisor
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- Ability to understand and follow direction for technical challenges with consistent leadership support
- Excellent oral and written (e.g. presentations) communication skills
- Knowledge of automatic transmissions and CIE processes
Experience:
Preferred:
- Experience in powertrain vehicle-level and/or test cell development and validation testing
- Experience with instrumentation/data acquisition systems/tools
- Experience with data analysis and tools
