The Caesar Rodney School District is currently seeking Temporary Paraprofessionals for the 2025-2026 school year to fulfill various needs in buildings based on student enrollment, IEP's, programming and instruction. Positions may include Instructional Paraprofessional, 1:1 Support Paraprofessional, or other specific assignments, as detailed by administration, to support student achievement and well-being. All positions are full-time.
This posting includes anticipated openings in various CR schools and grade levels. Placement in a specific school is based on vacancies. Specific school placement, if requested, is not guaranteed as this is a district-wide posting. If you are interested in a specific school, you are still encouraged to apply for this district-wide position through this posting. Candidates are encouraged to share their desired grade or school during the interview process, but placement is not guaranteed to the successful candidate.
QUALIFICATIONS: Individuals who currently hold or are eligible for an Instructional Paraeducator Permit are encouraged to apply.
REQUIREMENTS: To qualify for the permit, you must meet one of the following criteria:
- Possess a high school diploma or recognized equivalent and achieve a passing score of 459 or higher on the ParaPro Assessment (ETS ParaPro)

SALARY: In accordance with the State of Delaware and local salary schedules, based on experience and degree. Benefits package included.

- All persons employed by the Caesar Rodney School District are required to submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test.
