We are seeking 1st shift General Warehouse associates to join our team at Wesanco!
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday **Must be open to working Saturdays (same scheduled time as above) and OT as necessary**
Shift: 1st 7:00am-3:30pm
Position Summary:
Work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing setting that may include dust and debris and can be loud at times. Perform various tasks involved in general labor operation including but not limited to setting up and operating machines, handling parts and materials, packing parts and other related activities using hand tools, various type of packing materials. must follow all applicable safety procedures to avoid injuries including requests for help from co-workers. Proper handling of finished parts and products to avoid injuries or damage, follow all operational instructions when operating or using tools and equipment. Provide quality checks as determined.
Job Responsibilities:
- Performs general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials.
- Responsibly for quality inspection
- Will operate power forklift
- Responsibility for correctly warehousing/ storing finished goods
- Assists with any other manual labor tasks as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Excellent verbal communication skills with strong aptitude for operating machinery.
- Ability to follow instructions and learn the production process.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
Education and Experience:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Hi-Lo Certification preferred, will be trained, and certified on the hi-lo.
- (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Must be able to clear drug screen and background check.
- Must have reliable transportation.
