About the Role:
We are looking for a Manager, FP&A, our first dedicated FP&A hire, to establish and own the financial planning and analysis function from the ground up. This role will report directly to the Controller and will be a key partner in shaping how we budget, forecast, and analyze performance in a fast-scaling environment. The Manager, FP&A will work hands-on creating models, delivering insights, and helping leadership make informed decisions.
This role is ideal for someone who brings a strong command of financial modeling and storytelling, thrives in ambiguity, and wants to shape how an expanding healthcare business makes data-driven decisions.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and maintain 3-statement financial models (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) to support forecasting, scenario planning, and decision making.
- Take full ownership of the annual budget process and partner with leadership on planning, tracking, and variance analysis.
- Drive reporting and analysis on P&L performance, with particular focus on margins, operating expenses, and EBITDA.
- Provide actionable insights into COGS and operating expenses, ensuring leadership has visibility into cost drivers and opportunities.
- Build a monthly cadence to review actual results vs budget (BvA)
- Support in preparing reporting packages for executive leadership.
- Partner cross-functionally across departments to improve support business decisions.
- Establish foundational FP&A processes and best practices in a company where the FP&A function is being built from the ground up.
What We Require:
- 5+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 2+ years in FP&A roles.
- Strong expertise in 3-statement financial modeling; experience with financial planning tools is a plus.
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
- Ability to translate financial data into clear insights and recommendations for leadership.
- Comfortable working independently and as an individual contributor, while also experienced in managing up and influencing executives.
- Enthusiasm around exploring cutting-edge tools and technology with experience leveraging AI-powered tools for data analysis, reporting, and process optimization.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to partner across functions.
- Excited about building FP&A capabilities in a high growth environment.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
- Advanced education or certifications such as MBA in Finance, Strategy, or Accounting or CPA are a plus
What We Offer:
- The salary range for this role is: $115,000-$150,000. This salary range represents our target hiring range for this role. The proposed salary will be dependent on the candidate's skills, experience, and competencies
