The team is responsible for the entire lifecycle management for the CSA Wifi/hotspot platform. The WLAN CSA Squad (consisting of 11 team members) holds the end-to-end responsibility for the WLAN CSA platform.
The team is responsible for the entire lifecycle and further development.
We are looking for 3 System Engineers, 1 project manager and 2 test managers to join our team for the WLAN CSA platforms.
You will be working closely with our developers and partners to design, integrate, deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot the plattform.
Activity description and concrete tasks:
- Being responsible for the entire lifecycle management for CSA Platform within an operational team
- Implementation and operation of virtualized and Kubernetes based environments
- Analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation of system malfunctions
- Integration and optimization of application specific counters into new methods and tools for data analysis and monitoring
- Rollout management throughout the entire application lifecycle based on ITIL/corporate processes (Incident/problem/change)
- Integrate new services incl. monitoring and alarm integration/adaption of existing service alarming and monitoring
- Future migration of the CSA platforms to new cloud platforms
- Streamline processes, enhance software and system performance and apply innovative technologies and concepts as part of the operations team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable end-to-end system functionality
- Willingness to perform tasks outside of regular working hours during the night (max 2/a) and participation in on-call duty (7*24) (max 2/a)
Mandatory skills:
'- Know-how in troubleshooting of IPv4/IPv6 networks and protocols such as TCP, UDP, Radius, HTTP and tracing tools (e.g. Wireshark)
- Working experience in Linux-based operating systems and the virtualization or containerized solutions based on them incl. security patch management
- Fundamental know-how in DevOps CI/CD tools (GitLab, Artifactory, Helm, Flux, …) and monitoring systems like Grafana, Promtail, Prometheus
- Experienced in operation/integration of REST based APIs and modern security protocols
- Basic programming and scripting knowledge (Ansible, Bash, Python)
- Good English skills, both written and spoken, basic German skills would be advantageous
Optional skills:
- very good analytical skills combined with strong quality awareness
- experience in classic and agile forms of cooperation
Being on-call for approx. 6 weeks per year and rarely performing changes outside of regular working hours
