Business Development

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly and efficiently interpret large data sets.
  • Ability to uncover customer needs, develop recommendations and deliver them persuasively.
  • Expert facilitation, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts.
  • Excellent planning and analytical skills
  • Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; and the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strategic and Operational Leadership: Proven experience developing and implementing corporate and operational strategies for utilities. Ability to lead clients through complex business transformation, from initial concept and business case to the design of new operating models.
  • Regulatory and Policy Acumen: A deep understanding of the utility regulatory environment at both state and federal levels. Experience developing innovative regulatory strategies to support modernization investments.
  • Organizational Design and Change Management: Demonstrated experience in utility reorganization, process redesign, and leading teams through significant operational change. A track record of helping organizations innovate on new ways of working to improve efficiency and adapt to industry shifts.
