About the Role
At EX Squared LATAM, we connect top talent across the region with global opportunities. We are currently hiring a Strategy Director to lead paid media and digital marketing strategy across Australia and New Zealand for a major global client in the delivery services sector.
This is a strategic and highly client-facing role where you will shape bold activations, translate global objectives into impactful local strategies, and position our client to gain market share against strong competitors. You will work closely with senior stakeholders while collaborating with US and APAC teams to ensure seamless execution and innovation.
What You’ll Do
Serve as the lead strategist for AUNZ, translating global and regional goals into actionable local media strategies.
Act as a trusted partner for client stakeholders, advocating for our team as their go-to media partner in the region.
Lead quarterly planning sessions, workshops, and business reviews with senior stakeholders.
Develop comprehensive paid media and digital marketing roadmaps tailored to AUNZ market dynamics.
Provide thought leadership on incrementality, lift studies, MMM consulting, and measurement frameworks.
Design and lead high-impact activations that elevate brand presence and market share.
Spot partnership and growth opportunities, leveraging global capabilities for regional impact.
Oversee cross-functional collaboration to ensure deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Establish reporting and feedback loops to measure and communicate success.
What You’ll Bring
10+ years of experience in media strategy, communications planning, or digital marketing, preferably in AUNZ.
Proven success managing senior client relationships and presenting to C-level stakeholders.
Deep knowledge of the AUNZ media landscape, platforms, and publishers.
Strong strategic thinking, storytelling, and point-of-view development skills.
Ability to work in-office with the client a few days per week.
High comfort working independently and navigating ambiguity.
Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
Experience with global or regional clients and aligning local execution with global strategy.
Familiarity with MMM, lift studies, and advanced analytics frameworks.
Strong network within the AUNZ media and marketing ecosystem.
