About the opportunity Reporting to the Security Program Manager, you will be responsible for designing, managing, and supporting Australia Post projects in the areas of security and technology.*Base Salary commensurate with experience (> $96,000 per annum + 12% superannuation)What you’ll deliver with us As a member of the Group Security team, the Protective Security Advisor is responsible for providing expert advice and design services to anticipate and identify threats to Australia Post staff, assets and operations. You’ll also Take a proactive approach to provide recommendation on systems, technology, operating methodologies and other strategies to protect the integrity of Australia Post assets, staff and customer propertyAct as Australia Post’s security adviser internally and support the Security Program Manager and Protective Security Advisors with project documentation Continuously evaluate respond to physical threats to operations through a broad range of methods including on-site inspections, technology reviews, analysis and modellingContribute to, or conduct training of team members in the suite of security systems or processes deployed by Group SecurityProvide input for the Protective Security policy, standards, procedures and business strategyAbout you Ability to operate in an advisory and consultancy manner, developing close working relationships with business managers and other internal customers at all levels. You also demonstrate the ability to understand, anticipate and respond to crime risks, enabling the safe and secure implementation of new business strategies.
