ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and suppliers.
  • Respond to both external and internal client inquiries.
  • Coordinate and oversee daily trucking operations, ensuring timely and efficient freight movement.
  • Support airfreight operations, including documentation, bookings, and airline coordination.
  • Communicate with vendors/suppliers regarding dispatch, routing, pricing, and rates.
  • Prepare documentation for Truck shipments , and customs clearance processes.
  • Monitor shipments from pickup to delivery, providing proactive updates to clients.
  • Seek the most profitable mode of shipment while meeting client requirements.
  • Recommend process improvements to reduce costs and maximize profitability.
  • Handle exceptions and resolve issues related to delays or service failures.
  • Maintain accurate records and support invoicing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
  • Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment.
  • Job will require regular and punctual attendance as well as presence on-site at the assigned work location.

OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in trucking operations.
  • Some experience in airfreight logistics (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of transportation documentation and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Career-oriented, detail-focused, and quick learner.

 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Three to five years of related experience.
  • At least two year of industry-specific experience preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

  • Professional certification may be required in some areas.
