Job Description:

Your Responsibilities

  • Take an active, hands-on role in preparing and reviewing consolidated financial statements, including special topics such as first-time consolidations, impairment reviews, and drafting group notes and management reports. You will also support our external auditors throughout the audit process.
  • Oversee and maintain the Group’s accounting policies, ensuring consistent application of the guidelines across all business units.
  • Resolve specific accounting and reporting questions in accordance with German GAAP (HGB).
  • Shape and optimize processes in fixed asset accounting and govern fixed asset policies Group-wide.
  • Further develop, implement, and monitor our internal control system (ICS) standards across the KOSTAL Group.
  • Tackle special projects in accounting and contribute to company transactions (M&A, restructuring, etc.).
Qualifications:
  • University degree in Business, Economics, or similar with a focus on Finance and Accounting—or comparable commercial training with a professional accounting qualification (e.g., certified accountant).
  • Several years of experience in Group Accounting at a large enterprise or in group audits at an accountancy firm.
  • Proven track record in using consolidation software (e.g., SAP, IDL, Lucanet, etc.).
  • Business-fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and SAP
