Base Salary: $23,786 Actual salary will be calculated based on experience.
PRIMARY PURPOSE: The receptionist is responsible for greeting and directing visitors, is the initial contact for persons entering the office, serves as the primary phone operator for the school, and provides general office duties.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certification: High school diploma or GED required
Special Knowledge/Skills: Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred Proficient typing and word processing skills Working knowledge of office equipment, such as copiers, scanners, fax, and computers Knowledge of multi-line phone system Excellent interpersonal skills in order to insure positive relations with all patrons Ability to work in a multi-task environment High degree of ethical behavior and confidentiality
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Prepare written correspondence, forms, and reports using personal computer. Maintain a log of visitors to the school. Assist students, teachers, and parents as needed. Receive incoming calls, take reliable messages, and route to appropriate staff. Maintain confidentiality. Operate office equipment. Perform other duties as assigned.
OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED: Frisco ISD retains the right to adjust the responsibilities and assignments of all positions as needed to meet the needs of the District.
