Description
Job Summary: Responsible for all maintenance and related activities in support of the Palm Harbor corporate facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and oversee the work of 2 Maintenance Techs and 2 office cleaners
- Responsible for the maintenance of all Sutherland Realty Holdings Office facilities, including 6 offices, 2 parking lots and 3 residences / rental properties. Additionally, 2 commercial storage facilities and 1 RV storage
- Responsible for all lawn maintenance work, landscaping, mulching, tree trimming, pressure washing, some painting, electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, pest control, fire & Security alarms, generators, elevator, painters, irrigation, etc
- Manage subcontractors, including request for quotes, and oversee projects to satisfactory completion of projects
- Provide training, work direction and guidance while performing work in one or more of the skilled trades for other maintenance technicians
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
- Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities
- Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities
- Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
- Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
- Perform all other duties as assigned or needed
Requirements
Qualifications / Certifications:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a maintenance role
- Must be self-driven, detail oriented and self-motivated
- Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License
- Must be reliable, responsible, and dependable
- Use of personal vehicle needed at times, pickup truck highly desirable
- Computer Skills for reviewing proposals, invoices, emails, and employee reviews
Work Demands:
- Must be able to work in the Florida heat, and take pride in your work
- The Facilities Team Lead will be required to lift, carry, walk, sit, push, pull and must be able to move continuously during work hours and able to lift/carry 50 to 75 pounds
