  • Work with Project Managers to establish design parameters consistent with the project scope, schedule and budget
  • Troubleshoot technical challenges and offer practical solutions to keep projects on track
  • Perform field investigations as required to determine project scope
  • Maintain a general understanding of a building's structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection/life safety, and telecommunications systems; align these systems with architectural designs
  • Assist with cost estimate preparation
  • Track and interpret relevant legislative and regulatory requirements in collaboration with the Architecture Manager
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication, responsiveness, and collaboration
  • Develop and deliver client or professional presentations to support business development and firm visibility
  • Support the retention of existing clients by consistently providing high-quality service and deliverables
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team culture that encourages innovation and continuous improvement

What we’ll love about you:

  • You bring a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and excel at navigating complex project challenges
  • You take initiative to develop your technical skills and stay current with advancements in architecture and design
  • You offer regular, constructive feedback to help others grow
  • You are a strong mentor who delegates effectively and inspires others through support and accountability
  • You understand how to align group efforts with broader firm objectives, driving performance through clarity and focus
  • You are skilled at managing interpersonal dynamics, using conflict resolution skills to maintain team cohesion
  • You actively collaborate with other department leads to ensure cross-functional alignment and resolve issues efficiently
  • You contribute to a high-performing team climate and are willing to step into broader leadership roles as needed
  • You value learning and development—not only for yourself, but for those you lead—and pursue opportunities to strengthen your leadership and decision-making abilities
  • You lead with empathy, professionalism, and a clear sense of purpose—building trust both within your team and with external partners

Here’s What You’ll Need (Basic Qualifications)

  • 10+ years’ experience in design/architecture
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture
  • Architectural license required
  • Healthcare project experience preferred
  • Experience with preparing contract documents (Drawings and Specs)
  • Experience in successfully leading architectural teams and delivering projects of varying scale and complexity.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction practices.
  • Experience with Revit and Bluebeam.
  • Preferred experience with Ajera and Adobe Creative Suite

What you’ll love about us:

  • We are an innovative, engaging, diverse, and collaborative team.
  • We offer competitive compensation with a year-end performance bonus, employer-paid health, medical, and dental benefits, a 401k with match, student loan repayment, and paid parental leave.
