A fun and warm family based in Greenwich, Connecticut is looking for a part-time nanny who will also travel with them, including 5 international trips starting December 2025. The family is looking for someone to start in the next 6-8 weeks. The children will be 4-years-old , 3-years-old, and 1-year-old at the time of the first trip. The weekly schedule while in Greenwich will be one week day of the candidate's choosing (7am-7pm) and half day Saturdays (2/3-8pm). The family is flexible on which week day but want it to stay the same each week.
Schedule during travel will be discussed as the trips gets closer but the nanny can anticipate working a combination of days and nights, with mostly day coverage. For example, watching all three children during the day while the parents are out, watching the youngest for a few hours while the parents take the older children out, or doing things all together as a group. Overnight care will not be needed, however, there may be some nights the parents go out and the nanny will be asked to watch the monitor for a few hours.

December 26 or 27, 2 weeks (Switzerland)
February, 1 week (Caribbean)
April, 3 weeks (Australia)
June-July, 4 weeks (France/UK)

While in Greenwich:
- Full childcare; two of the children attend school in the mornings
- Coordinating schedules for naps, meals, and activities
- Helping with child-related meal preparation and baby dishes
- Managing the tidiness and organization of the children's spaces and belongings, including vacuuming
- Child-related laundry
During travel:
- Each trip would entail flying with the family from their home base in Connecticut to the destination and back again, and helping with the children on the flights.
- Accompanying the family to the hotel/accommodations, helping set up the rooms, and unpacking their things
- Engaging with and overseeing the safety of the children, and helping with snacks, meals, bath, and bedtime routines.
- Some simple cooking such as steaming veggies, making pasta, etc.
- Accompanying the family during any outings and entertaining the children when needed (visiting a local playground, going for a walk, etc.)
- Children’s laundry when access to laundry is available
- Calm energy
- Extremely safety-conscious, as safety is number one, especially during travel. The family is looking for a nanny who is always two steps ahead and an expert traveler, especially when abroad
- The ideal candidate is proactive, energetic, organized, positive, and experienced with these ages
- Experienced traveling with nanny families and children these ages
- Impeccable communication skills and tech savvy to be in contact with parents during travel
- Comfortable being on a boat/not prone to motion sickness
- Candidates must be First Aid and CPR certified, or willing to certify before first trip
- Must have valid passport not expiring within 6 months of November
- Hourly rate of $35-45 per hour
- The family will provide a private bedroom at each accommodation and pay for all the travel expenses and meals
