Join the NVFS Family: We are looking to hire an Infrastructure & Systems Administrator to join the NVFS in our IT team! As the Infrastructure & Systems Admin, you are responsible for administering Microsoft 365, Azure, and endpoint devices while supporting NVFS’ hybrid cloud environment. In this role you will provide second-level technical support to the Technology team, coordinate with managed service providers (MSPs) on projects and system upgrades and contribute to initiatives that simplify and strengthen NVFS’ infrastructure.

This position has a starting salary in the mid 70s.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Provide daily administration and support for Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
- Manage user accounts, licensing, and access through Azure AD/Entra ID.
- Configure and support endpoints via Intune/Endpoint Manager (updates, compliance, and application deployment).
- Partner with the MSP to maintain LAN/WAN networks, firewalls, switches, and routers.
- Support hybrid infrastructure environments, integrating on-premises systems with cloud-based tools (Microsoft 365, Azure).
- Help coordinate lifecycle management for devices and servers, including inventory tracking and hardware refreshes.
- Support backup and disaster recovery processes by ensuring proper MSP execution and escalating any issues as needed.
- Act as the day-to-day communicator with the MSP for routine infrastructure, environment, endpoint issues, and migration projects.
Operational Support & Documentation:
- Support IT projects such as office expansions, hardware upgrades, and system migrations.
- Document system configurations, policies, and procedures for team reference.
- Maintain endpoint and device lifecycle documentation.
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalations from the IT Helpdesk.
Security & Reliability:
- Apply endpoint security policies including MFA, compliance rules, and antivirus/EDR management.
- Monitor Microsoft 365 security alerts and compliance dashboards, escalating issues as appropriate.
- Assist MSP in applying cybersecurity best practices and infrastructure monitoring.
- Participate in periodic infrastructure reviews and recommend improvements.

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 4-5 years of experience in IT systems administration and endpoint management in a Microsoft 365 environment
- Experience with Intune/Endpoint Manager and Azure AD/Entra ID
- Basic understanding of Windows Server administration and networking concepts (LAN/WAN, firewalls, switches)
- Familiarity with hybrid environments (on-premises + cloud)
- Knowledge of IT security best practices
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively with internal teams and external MSP partners
- Oral and written fluency in English; additional languages welcome
Additional Requirements:
- Must be willing and able to travel to NVFS locations to monitor and assess technology infrastructure as needed
Work is primarily performed in an office or remote environment, with occasional travel to NVFS sites as needed. As this role supports 24/7/365 agency operations, the incumbent may be required to work beyond regular hours.
